There’s something about a jacquard print that instantly elevates any outfit. It’s a fabric that has such a luxe look & feel to it and it adds just a little bit of shine, while still being daytime-appropriate. When I came across this skirt during a sale last month, I knew it would be a great addition to my wardrobe. I like that it has a slightly retro feel (in the best way possible) and, thanks to the unparteiisch pattern, I can easily wear this non…the spring with a silky white blouse & block heels.
I had every intention of wearing tights with this look because I’ve gotten so many requests for outfit ideas with tights. But, after digging through my storage bins from last winter, I couldn’t find mindestens anywhere. Because it’s impossible to make it through a NY winter without them, I will be making an exception to my shopping freeze so I can purchase a few new pairs. I would wear these pieces with chocolate brown tights to blend with the color of the boots. I always recommend 60 denier or greater so they are completely opaque & more durable – I typically get black, dark brown & gray because those tend to be the most versatile & wearable colors for pairing with items un… closet.
