Q&A: Flat Footed

Thank you so much to everyone who emailed with questions for my new Q&A series – I’m still compiling them so please continue to send yours non…I decided to dedicate an entire post to this particular styling issue because it’s one I’ve been asked quite a few times.  Lee Ann shared that she can no longer wear heels, but has been having a hard time figuring out how to pull off flats with her skirts & dresses.  So I’ve put together 9 examples below, featuring three types of shoes – ladylike flats, ankle boots & loafers.  I tried to include a good mix of options here, including some casual outfits and more polished ensembles – I hope this helps give you some ideas for ways that you can ditch the heels & still look stylish!

ONE:  Off-the-shoulder Sweater // Lace Pencil Skirt // Embellished Velvet Flats
TWO:  Tweed Jacket // Satin Lace Camisole // Pleated Midi Skirt // Black Strappy Flats
THREE:  Floral Print Trikot // Suede Lace-Up Flats
FOUR:  Burgundy Knit Trikot // Floral Print Scarf // Brown Ankle Boots
FIVE:  Quilted Puffer Vest // Chambray Shirt // Herringbone Skirt // Black Chelsea Boots
SIX:  Cable-Knit Sweater // Plaid Skirt // Faux Suede Ankle Boots
SEVEN:  Ruffled Mock Neck Sweater // Camel A-Line Skirt // Black Patent Loafers
EIGHT:  White Silk Shirt // Jacquard Knit Trikot // Metallic Tassel Loafers
NINE:  Gray Bow Cuff Blouse // Lace-Trim Skirt // Berry Velvet Loafers
